Tribute to Larry Norman

On February 24, Larry Norman passed away. Larry was the father of Christian rock. I first heard his music when I was 17 and I enjoyed it. It was not until mid February of this year that I actually went to his website www.larrynorman.com and ordered three of his CD’s. What took me so long, I will never know. It was only after I received the shipment that I found out Larry had died. From what I have read about him and by listening to his music, I saw that he was a maverick(I always root for the underdog). He never went after fame, he just kept doing what he loved and what he was drawn to. For me, his songs “If The Bombs Fall”, “Shot Down” and “The Tune” represent his vast talent. The world has lost a great minstral. Be at peace Larry Norman.
