What to see and do in Hamilton, Ontario
As a museum lover, Hamilton, Ontario has a lot to offer me and anyone else. The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum has many vintage aircraft like a B-25 Mitchell, a Lancaster and a Spitfire, yes I love WW2 aircraft. Go see the planes up close and climb into some of them for an up close look at the cockpits or cargo holds. For more war history check out the HMCS Haida National Historic Site, this is a tribal class destroyer that you can visit. It holds a lot of history and can teach us about the past. On elast great historical place I enjoy is the Dundurn Castle, a 40-room Italianate-style villa built in the 1830's on Burlington Heights; the former site of a fortified military encampment established by the British in 1813.
More To See and Experience!
For you nature lovers, the Royal Botanical Gardens which has beautiful gardens outside and very nicely decorated inside for Christmas, a great place to walk and just relax. Gage Park has alleys with benches, playgrounds, old trees, beautiful flowers, water fountains, a great place to bring the whole family. Live theatre lovers will enjoy Theatre Aquarius, with its production like Steel City Gangster and Elf the Musical. One day they will have to have JayDee Hypnotist and his comedy stage hypnosis show out for an evening of laughs for the whole family. After a great live event, food is to be had and Hamilton has great choices. Some of my favorites are 541 Eatery & Exchange, Burnt Tongue, Hamburger and Rapscallion Rogue Eatery. After eats, maybe a stroll through and art gallery and the Art Gallery of Hamilton is the ticket it has an extensive permanent collection and hosts interesting special displays on a regular basis, go take a peek at the Gustave Dore paintings on display.
Comedy Hypnosis Clip
At this dry grad party that hosted JayDee Hypnotist’s comedy stage hypnosis show, all the volunteers think that they are sitting on stage in the nude. The various reactions to a simple suggestion are across the scale from timid to no shame. The human imagination is so varied in reactions and you will see this as you watch this clip of a funny stage hypnosis show. One gent even showed off everything he had, he was fully clothed :)
