What to see and do in Sudbury, ON
Sudbury, Ontario has many places to go and see when I visit there. When I want to experience the great outdoors, Bell Park Walkway/Boardwalk is the place to be. Skating paths in the winter, walking/hiking paths in the summer with swimming, fishing and small watercraft, there is so much to do in this beautiful park. Another neat spot is Onaping Falls with a looping trail for walkers/hikers and a trail across the bridge and of course go and see the waterfall in summer or winter! Finally, the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area has Great trails in this area, some loop and they are well maintained. Good for biking and nothing too difficult for most walkers/hikers. I enjoy museums very much and Science North does not disappoint. Explore the fun side of science in your everyday life along with an IMAX theatre and planetarium.
More to experience!
Train lovers will really enjoy Northern Ontario Railroad Museum & Heritage Centre contains some old and original railway cars. The museum itself is an old station house that explains all about the importance and creation of the railway through the area. The Sudbury Theatre Centre has live musicals and performances such as Menopause the Musical and The Barra MacNeils. They should book in JayDee Hypnotist and his family friendly comedy stage hypnosis show for an evening of laughter. More entertainment of the animal kind, can be had at Northern Exotics, it has 100 species from 6 continents. Most of these animals are rescues/drop offs and are being used to educate and change attitudes about these animals. After all the entertainment, food might be on your mind and Sudbury has many fine choices. I enjoy going to Great Lakes Pizza Co, Tucos Taco Lounge, Di Gusto and The Laughing Buddha. All will have something great for all tastes but there are other great choices, I just have not visited them yet.
Comedy Hypnosis Show Clip
This comedy stage hypnosis party for an after grad features the hypnotist telling the deeply hypnotized volunteers that they are completely naked on the stage. Of course they are fully clothed but their imaginations go wild which leads to many various reactions from very timid and meek to a complete exhibitionist! Enjoy this hypnosis show stunt and consider having JayDee at your next event or corporate party.
