What to do in Lloydminster, AB
Many times I have been to Lloydminster, Alberta and mainly it is passing through. The main thing any visitor will notice is the Border Markers, red in colour, very tall, shaped like survey stakes, clearly marking the border between Alberta and Saskatchewan. For a great park, at the Bud Miller All Seasons Park there is a nice little pond that is stocked with fish and is a fun place for skating in the winter and the water park is great for kids. If you enjoy cultural things, the Lloydminster Cultural & Science Centre, check out the dioramas and the taxidermy, as well see the large collection of Imhoff's art on exhibit. The RCMP Hope Monument, is worth a look, A very tasteful tribute, well done and high profile. It’s in a convenient place next to City Hall and very pleasant surroundings.
More to experience!
You may be hungry and Lloydminster has some great eats. My favorites are Mr. Bill's Family Restaurant, Tasty K's, Spiro's Family Restaurant and Steels Cafe & Grill, you will get well fed at any of these picks and yet there are still more great choices available, go and explore them all. Great live entertainment can be had at the Vic Juba Community Theatre, they have great acts like Paul Zerdin and A Beatles Tribute. Soon they will want to bring in JayDee Hypnotist and his comedy stage hypnosis show for a night of belly laughs and amazement. For the adventurers there is Gopher Hill Paintball, bring a team of friends and go hunting.
Funny Comedy Hypnosis Clip
When you watch this hypnosis show clip of an after grad event, you will see that all the volunteers think that they are completely naked. The many different reactions to this suggestion is just hilarious, from being very timid to being very forward. At all times they are fully clothed and the wonder of their imagination is fascinating. As you watch this stage hypnosis show, enjoy the range of reactions to one simple suggestion.
